Fantastic Fests
Tybee Island offers an array of family-friendly festivals and events during the spring. The Irish Heritage Fest is usually held the Saturday before St. Patrick’s Day. This year, that’s March 12. Other spring events include the Turtle Trot, a 5K run and walk in April, the Tybee Wine Fest at Tybee Post Theatre in April, and the SCAD Sand Arts Festival, Tour of Homes, and Beach Bum Parade, all held in May.

The three-hour tours, suitable for any level of paddlers, take participants through the protected estuary and do some beachcombing on Little Tybee.
