Relax at Our Beach Escape

This ocean-view home can welcome up to eight guests in its three bedrooms. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed with balcony access and looks out on the beach. Move down the corridor to the next bedroom with a single queen-size bed. The last bedroom offers two queen-size beds and a view out to the neighborhood.

All bedrooms come with flat-screen TVs, linens and extra blankets. Connected to the master bedroom is a private bathroom. It comes complete with a separate shower and huge tub; bubble baths are almost required at this property. Another bathroom is designed for the other two guest bedrooms with a shower/tub combination.

The common area is an open space for the living room, dining area and kitchen. Stretch out on the sofa sectional with a lounger poised nearby. Enjoy the flat-screen TV here with access to the Wi-Fi system too. Get together around the dining table that seats up to seven people. Alternatively, use the breakfast bar along the kitchen counter for a more casual affair with seating for two.

Another property highlight includes multiple entrances to the balcony. Use the sliding door from the living room to the balcony, but also access the balcony through the private master doorway. This largest bedroom has a door with a huge window, which offers yet another view of the shoreline.

Visitors are welcome to park at the properties designated spots. There are two reserved spots for our Unit 202 condo. You may not need to drive anywhere at first, however. Many attractions are within walking distance of the Sandpiper. Simply take the car out when you want to discover North Tybee Island and beyond.

Enjoy Tybee Island's Attractions

The Sandpiper is quite literally in the middle of Tybee Island's most popular attractions. Walk outside the door, and the beach is a few steps away. Bring your beach towels, sunscreen and beach balls to the sand for a day in the sun. When you want to explore the area even further, consider a short walk up to the Tybee Beach Pier and Pavilion. Stare in awe at the view, shop with the local vendors and indulge in a quick treat. This area is popular with locals and visitors alike.

A clever way to see Tybee Island without too much walking is by renting a bike. This neighborhood is perfect for biking along the beach or down to the shops and restaurants. It's often easier to get around on a bike than in a vehicle. Many rental shops have specialty bikes too, such as tandem or baby-seat options.

Tybee Island is known as Savannah's unofficial beach. If you want to explore even more of the island, head out to the north end. Here, you'll find a marine center with a spectacular view of dolphins just off the coast. In addition to the ocean access, Tybee Island also boasts an extensive marshland. Become a bird watcher by bringing along some binoculars and a sharp eye. Nature is abundant even on this popular island.

Southern Belle Pool
Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island. The Pool is open during the below dates and times.
March 1- Oct 31, Open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm
November 1 - February 28, Open Friday and Saturday from 10am-5pm
Additional Pool Hours available during the off-season are listed below. If these dates fall in the middle of the week, the pool will be open as listed below and every Friday and Saturday.

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

I am less than an hour away from Tybee, so I stay frequently on the off-season. I always stay ocean front. This is my 1st stay with Southern Belle. This is the cleanest condo I have ever stayed in at Tybee. I will be using your agency from now on. View is most important thing to me, and this view was incredible. Great to have a Keurig, loved the jetted tub and balcony. Feel free to send me off-season specials...I'll come running!
