Walk Into Comfort

Venture up the elevator and down the hallway to Mermaid Inn. You're greeted by a keypad adjacent to the blue, front door. Vacation rentals Tybee Island GA uses a self check-in process at every property. Type in your access code to start your vacation.

You'll first notice a long hallway that takes you past two hallway bunk beds. If you have children with you, they'll fall in love with this feature. A separate bedroom is just across from the bunk beds. In addition, the living room is just a few more steps down this same hallway.

To create more privacy, however, this hallway has a door dividing the space in two. The bunk beds and single bedroom can be closed off with the door to the main living space at night. This clever design isolates noise from the living room so that anyone sleeping can have a restful night.

The bedroom has a queen-size bed and flat-screen TV for your convenience. Activate the ceiling fan to keep you cool at night. The entire apartment has heating and cooling too. Additionally, there is plenty of storage space for all of your personal belongings.

Tybee vacation rentals offer plush furniture in the living room to give you a vacation of comfort. Sink into the sofa or nearby chairs. They're all designed to take away any stress. Another TV is in the living room, which brings everyone together after a busy day.

Your rental even comes with a fully equipped kitchen. Located just beside the living room, the kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and small appliances. The dining area is actually a bar located just between the kitchen and living room. Seat up to five people at the bar for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Our guests can also cook up a storm with the included utensils. Cooking basics, such as pans, bowls, plates and more, can be found in the kitchen cabinets. There's no need to eat out with each meal. Save some money by cooking a few meals here. The view out the sliding glass door will inspire you to cook each day.

The Mermaid Inn also comes with a few essentials that are definitely appreciated by most guests. There's available Wi-Fi and lockbox for your valuables, for example. Stay safe with smoke detectors throughout the rooms and a fire extinguisher. If you need to do a load or two of laundry during your stay, you will find coin-op washers and dryers in-building. The property always has outdoor lighting for the exterior too, which keeps everyone safe as they enjoy the neighborhood.

Relax Outside

Mermaid Inn has a spectacular view right from the living room. Walk out onto the balcony to see several landmarks. Primarily, the pool is just to the right of the apartment. You can check out if it's busy or not, for instance. This pool is reserved only for apartment residents, so you might meet a few people there each day. Look past the pool to the vast ocean. Watch the tides roll in as you relax on the patio furniture. Bring snacks and drinks out on the balcony too. It has a slightly enclosed design so that any breezes are light and comfortable.

This property has a long pathway that stretches from the apartments and out to the sand. There's no need to use a car to access the beach. Simply walk or ride a bike. The beach is so convenient for you to enjoy each day on vacation.

Mermaid Inn also offers a tennis court for our guests. Bring your rackets and balls for a tennis round by the water. This amenity is unique to the Mermaid Inn, so it's important to book early for the best dates.

Become a Local

Mermaid Inn includes a single parking spot during your stay. With this fact in mind, take advantage of your vacation time to explore areas in and around Tybee vacation rentals as you head out in your vehicle. For instance, Fort Pulaski is a short drive away. It brings history alive with its breathtaking structures. Alternatively, Captain Derek's isn't far away either. They take you out on a dolphin tours adventure that's unique with every sailing.

Tybee Island vacation homes are also close to the marine center where your entire group can learn about local wildlife. You can make your way south to the famous pier and pavilion on the island too. Discover souvenir shopping, amazing views and relaxation on the beach with a trip to the pavilion.

In addition to the on-site pools at this property, our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on the south end of Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitmarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

If would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total
weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

My husband and I visited Tybee Island for the first time and stayed at the Mermaid Inn. The condo was very nice, quiet, and met all of our needs for a mini vacation. We will definitely consider staying there again should we make another trip to Tybee. Thank You.
