When you're looking for a beach escape that has a Southern flair, look no further than Tybee Island. In fact, there's a condominium that's just waiting for you. With a nickname of "Oceanview Bliss," you can be sure about a delightful time in your future. Explore the amenities, charm and utter relaxation that can be found with Tybee vacation rentals.

Exploring the Interior

These vacation rentals Tybee Island are often one-bedroom retreats that feel like luxury homes. Use the keypad to self check-in, for instance, and you're ready to start your vacation.

Up to four people can stay in the condo. For instance, two people stay in the bedroom and another two visitors rest on the sofa bed.

A full-size bathroom greets you with a tub/shower combination, single sink and bath towels included. Our staff even adds hotel-style shampoo and other amenities to the bathroom for your convenience. An additional vanity area is adjacent to the bathroom, which gives you more space to stretch out.

The entire rental is airy and full of light as you look out the sliding glass door onto the water.

Relaxing on the Balcony

The balcony is a reprieve unto its own. Enjoy our patio furniture for two along with available beach chairs and umbrella hanging on the wall!

You may not want to leave the balcony at vacation rentals Tybee Island, however. Look across the greenery just flanking the property, and you'll see plenty of ships moving along the waterway. This area is a meeting point between the Atlantic Ocean and Savannah River. Many ships, both big and small, will float past throughout the day. Enjoy a quiet evening just watching them move cargo or passengers across the globe.

Tybee vacation homes have all the essentials for the cook in the family. Enjoy these amenities, such as:

If you're interested in a heated pool, please enjoy the pool at our other property located at 19 Silver Avenue. Referred to as the Southern Belle pool, it offers just another retreat on your Tybee Island vacation.

Discovering the Private Beach

Take a short walk from the condo to the private beach. In fact, the walk is often part of the fun. The property connects to the beach by way of a wood bridge. Its weathered appearance tells you that its been here for a long time. It'll get you to the white sand in no time. Bring along all your gear to spend the entire day at the shore.

Parking Perk

Parking at the beach can be daunting, so the property comes with a single space for your convenience. It's a marked spot, which means you can come and go as you please. Most adventures on Tybee Island are nearby, however, so the car might only be used when arriving or leaving the property.

Things to Do

Don't bring your diet to Tybee Island because so many restaurants have some of the best cuisine in the world. Try the local coffee shop called Tybean first. Make a list of the restaurants you want to visit, including Chamacos, Huccapoos and Crab Shack. You could stay a week and never have the same meal twice.

Try kayaking along the shore, or take a trip on a boat to see the local dolphins. One of the best plans is to rent a bike. Discover the region at a slower pace as you bike along the rolling sidewalks and streets.

Places to See

The oldest lighthouse in Georgia is on Tybee Island. Gaze up at the lighthouse and even climb to the top! There's plenty of history to discover here.

Our Tybee vacation rentals are also close to the Tybee Island Marine Science Center. Brush up on your marine biology as you learn more about conservation and native species to the area.

Venture to nearby Cockspur Island where you can visit Fort Pulaski National Monument. Civil War history occurred here, so it's definitely a place to put on your bucket list.

Savannah Beach and Racquet club is a gated community on the North side of Tybee with private beach access, tennis and pickle ball courts, and on-site swimming pool. For heated pool access you may use the Southern Belle pool located at 19 Silver Ave.
Location: North side of Tybee, where the Ocean meets the Savannah River. You are walking distance to great restaurants like Huccapoos and Chamacos, Tybean for coffee, several gift shops, and pottery studio.
Parking: Parking for 1 vehicle.

Southern Belle Pool

In addition to the pool on site at the condo community, our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

As a first time renting a condo we were very nervous and unsure of what to expect but when we arrived the condo was as seen in the pictures. We were instantly relieved that we do not get ripped off. The condo was beautiful and the view was amazing. The short walk to the beach was very nice as well. If we had a complaint it would be the lack of water pressure in the shower lol

Lovely visit to the island in a perfect spot to access beach as well as not too deep on the island. Easy access and loved the greenery on the dunes that afforded sounds of an aviary and during the brief rainstorm - the rain on the foliage combined with ocean waves and birds (yes,during thunder - they were singing)! Nice amenities in the unit. Thank you!

Wonderful time on Tybee Island! The condo was darling. Perfect for the two of us. Very clean. Looked brand new. We loved the balcony. Coffee in the morning...sunset in the evening. The view of the river was awesome. The huge, packed ships going by were such fun to watch. We're bird lovers, so really enjoyed all the bird song. A brown thrasher serenaded us one evening until after sunset. The Carolina Wren welcomed us in the morning. We brought our bikes, and cruised around the island. The visitors' center staff had very helpful suggestions. The Pulaski Fort was wonderful for hiking and /or biking. Check out Huckapoos and Bubba Gumbo's for good eats! Great time indeed!

Very clean accommodations. More than adequate supplies-towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Loved view of channel and watching ships come in and out. Had trouble gaining entrance. Called phone number on rental agreement and a very patient lady helped us with our problem and we were inside the residence very quickly. Appreciated periodic texts asking how everything was going. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

This was an amazing stay. I loved the location of this condo. I was able to walk 3/4 mile to the lighthouse to watch the sunrise and watch the sunset off of out perfect balcony. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE IT!!!!! oh yea...watching the shrimp boats was just a bonus......

On our first trip to Tybee Island and our first VRBO, the experience exceeded our expectations. There was everything we needed (and didn't think of, thank you for the beach chairs and umbrella :) and coffee maker) The walk to the beach was perfect. The view was wonderful as we watched cargo ships and dolphins daily. I would 100% go back to Oceanview Bliss.

We wanted to get away for a couple of days to relax and, boy, did we pick the right place! It was beautifully appointed and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and we slept like babies! The process of checking in and out was painless and efficient.Will definitely come back and would highly recommend.

Loved the views and the quite side if beach life. The condo was very clean and secure. I did not fully read the description to know there is not a dishwasher so maybe highlight this. We did not cook and used paper products. There were plentiful towels and TP. Very cozy and relaxing. Perfect sunsets and entertainment from shrimp boats, dolphins, and freighters.
