Anchors Away is a bright, spacious four-bedroom gem that offers luxury and comfort for up to eight overnight guests. Sprawl out in 2,490 square feet of space covering an open floor plan featuring wood floors, large windows, vaulted ceilings, and 2.5 bathrooms. A Look Inside One of the Coziest Tybee Island Beach House Rentals

The main living room of Anchors Away delights guests with a large L-shaped couch with accompanying recliners positioned in front of a beautiful stone fireplace. Set beneath a vaulted ceiling, this room is a cozy place to watch television on the flat-screen television that is provided. Grand windows, ample recessed lighting, and a glass door leading to the outside finish off the main living area perfectly!

The home's living room is connected to the kitchen by an open floor plan. A truly state-of-the-art space, this kitchen features gorgeous oak cabinets, a stone backsplash, two sinks, and new appliances in stainless steel. Enjoy lingering at a two-tier center island with stool seating for four. Additionally, there is a formal dining table with room for six. Large windows touching the vaulted ceiling above the cooking space create a naturally sunny and warm atmosphere in the kitchen and dining area.

Getting a good night's rest at Anchors Away is delightfully simple! The home features two king bedrooms and a two-bed suite. The first king bedroom is a stately space featuring a flat-screen television positioned over the fireplace, a seating area, and an oversized dresser. A set of double doors leads from the bedroom to a private balcony. This bedroom also has a private attached bathroom that boasts twin sinks set in a granite-topped vanity, and a full standup shower.

The second king bedroom in the home also boasts double doors leading to a private balcony. This bedroom also provides a flat-screen television, ample closet space, and cozy touches. The last bedroom offers two full beds in a space with large windows. The home's second full bathroom and half-sized bathroom are both conveniently located just down the hall from the bedrooms. Additionally, the home has a laundry nook with a full-sized washer and dryer.

Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

FANTASTIC RENTAL FOR FAMILY FUN!!!

Loved the house! It was so spacious with cool spaces all over the house for talking, playing games, watching tv, or just getting some quiet time. We had 5 adults and (1) 10-year-old. We all loved it!!! The ping pong table was our favorite and we spent hours during our stay playing it. This is a GREAT place for a family, or friends get together. It's walking very close to shops, food, and coffee. If you don't mind a little longer walk you could walk to the beach. It was in the 50's but we still had a ton of fun! We enjoyed all the fun stuff in the house, loved Tybean Coffee every morning which is right around the corner, and drove to the historic district in Savannah which was only like 25 minutes away. We would stay here again for sure and will definitely tell people about it.

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation. The house was just as pictured. We had all we needed. Would totally return and stay here again. Walking distance to little shops bar coffee bar and best of all the beach. The house had chairs sand tools frisbee. Tybee was a great getaway and Anchors Away welcomed us with all we needed. We even used the pool for a couple hours one day. The folks at Southern Belle were a text away, response time impressive! Thank you.

The location of this house is fantastic not even a block to the beach and very quite. The actual house it perfect for a group. We had 4 adults and 3 teens and between the layout and the game room great fun was had by all. The house is spacious and had everything we needed.

Family Fun at Anchors Away

I took my 2 adult children and spouses and 3 young grandchildren (2, 7, and 9) to Tybee Island in Feb for 5 days. We stayed at Anchors Away and had a wonderful time. The home is large with lots of separate spaces ( and separate tv’s!) for everyone. The kids enjoyed the first floor game room very much and all the games in the family room. We made a lot of our meals in the house and there were restaurants within walking distance when we wanted to eat out. We rented bikes from Tim’s (also within walking distance) . The kids used the heated pool which was a 6 min drive away and we toured the marine life museum. We also went into Savannah a few times (a 20 min drive). The best part- it was an easy walk to the beach! No need to drive or park. The house easily sleeps 10 ( 4 bedrooms). Maintenance was prompt when we called with a small issue Highly recommend for a relaxing stay at the quiet end of Tybee.

The home was so spacious and clean! A lot of games for the kids to play inside but a favorite was the Ping Pong table! The beds were so comfortable. Every room had a TV. Living room had a DVD player as well. Outside balconies on top floor was so great at night! The jacuzzi tub was deep with lots of jets and so relaxing! The kitchen had everything you needed to fix meals (pots, pans, measuring cups, gallon jug for tea, coffee maker, knife set, grill utensils for outside, can opener, etc). Fenced in backyard with 2 grills available! Outside shower for 2 people at a time so we didn't have to worry about bringing all that sand in the house was wonderful. Travel size shampoo and conditioner in each shower was very helpful along with the washer/dryer room. The key code was easy to get in and out. A couple beach chairs outside to take to the awesome, VERY quiet beach that was only a 5 minute walk at max! You walk over 2 small bridges and you're there! Found amazing shells at 5:30am and the locals were super nice and helpful. You'll see boats passing by AND DOLPHINS in the water ALL DAY! This beach is has mostly calm waters which was great to play in with family (and pictures!). Shops, restaurants and good ice cream places are right around the corner. The only inconvenience was that you have to travel 8 minutes (by car) to get to the pool. The pool had this big, cool cabana type chair that the kids LOVED! Get there early as spots fill up! We can't wait to come back and stay at this place again! It is now a family favorite! It's also a big plus that if you have any questions, Southern Belle responds IMMEDIATELY! If you're thinking about it, JUST RENT IT! :)

We enjoyed our stay at Anchors Away. The property was spacious and accommodated all of us. The finished level downstairs was a plus with an extra bed and game tables. The teenagers really enjoyed that space. The only thing i would recommend would be to add a few more large pots and pans to accommodate cooking for a large number of people (extra large sauce pan, baking sheets etc). We will be back again.

Truly enjoyable week at Anchors Away. Spacious home, tranquil location, and we had a blast playing foosball. Neighborhood is great for walking your dog, and it was so great to be steps from the beach, Tybean, and Huccapoos.
