Originally designed by the Meinhardt brothers in the 1870s, this charming environment lets you enjoy all the beauty and appeal of classic, Victorian architecture. This spacious condo sleeps four people and provides plenty of space for you to relax with family and friends. The vacation home's front door opens into a roomy living room with plush couches, cozy armchairs, and windows overlooking downtown Savannah.

Next to the living room, a fully equipped kitchen is ready for all your culinary experiments. The stainless steel appliances and gleaming white countertops are the perfect place to whip up a snack or prepare a tasty meal. With a full-size oven, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, it's easy to take a break from dining out and enjoy a delicious meal at home.

The main living space also has two bedrooms and two bathrooms branching off of it. One bedroom contains a king-size bed while the other has a queen-size bed. With their soft mattresses, plush pillows, and fresh linens, these rooms make it easy to enjoy a good night's sleep. The two bathrooms make it easy for everyone to prepare for the day. One contains a walk-in shower while the other offers a shower and bathtub combo.

Southern Belle Pool

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

Long-Term Stays

For our long-term stays, 30 days or more, we require a deposit and our office will reach out to you for details. For 60 days or more long-term stays, we require an additional clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The property was very clean and with all the amenities one would need. It was very charming. This would not be the place for someone who doesn’t do stairs as there are 2 flights . It was very convenient to many historic sights as well as public transportation.

My husband and I met our son and his wife for an extended weekend in Savannah. The accommodations were perfect. They had their space and we had our space. The location allowed us to easily walk the historic district. If one couple needed to return to the room to rest or to refill their water container the location allowed us to do so. It is a charming area. The store below was an added benefit. We could easily ask them a question, and they were happy to answer any questions.

We have rented from the same agency three times and every time it’s just perfect. We loved this unit and the perfect location. Parking was not an issue at all and in most cases we were right in front of the apartment. Very close to Forsyth Park, cute stores and great restaurants. We will definitely look for this apartment again when we visit our daughter who goes to SCAD.

Every part of my stay was amazing, the communication from the owners was always very clear! Check in and check out was a breeze, and the property was extremely clean and well maintained. I've been to Savannah several times, but this was by far the best property I've ever stayed at while visiting. Definitely recommend!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location is great. This is an 1871 building that has been brought up to date with bathrooms and a small kitchen. There are steps up into both bathrooms and stairs leading up to the room, so if you have mobility issues, this isn't for you. A few minor repairs to the bedroom doors needed to be made, but nothing that we wanted or needed to be done till after we left. We would stay here again.

The location was perfect in the historical district and we were easily able to walk to all of our destinations. I highly recommend!

Loved staying here! Loved the atmosphere and southern charm. I found this small apartment to be very cozy and comfortable. If you are into modern, this is not the place to stay but if you like old and cozy this is definitely the place to stay! We loved it so much we wished we could stay several more days! I felt like I was home. We would definitely.stay here again!

We totally enjoyed our stay at Haven on Taylor. Check in was easy. Location was within walking distance to most places we wanted to see. Haven on Taylor does require doing stairs, so if you're not a stair person then this wouldn't be for you. I appreciated the added exercise. Street traffic can be a little noisy at night but you get used to it. Location made the drive to Tybee Island quite simple. Loved spending a few days at the beach then coming back and enjoying Savannah night life. Southern Belle Vacation Rental agency reached out to us right away to make sure there were no issues. Will definitely rent through them again when in the area. Would stay at Haven on Taylor again if available. We had a very enjoyable vacation.

Only a block away from scenic Monterey Square and beautiful Jones Street, Haven on Taylor is less than a block from the historic Mercer House and a couple of blocks from the Forsyth Park fountain and Collins Quarter Restaurant (and coffee takeout) in Forsyth Park. It's a great spot, located on the free DOT shuttle to downtown Savannah but removed from the River Street touristy hustle. Haven has plenty of ceiling fans, tall ceilings, daylight windows with blinds - just be OK with climbing a couple flights on stairs.

This property is located about midway between the river and Forsyth Park and a short block from the Mercer House. The unit has a nice layout for a couple, couple w/ kids, girls trip, or even two couples. We did a girl's trip and my two friends slept on the daybed/trundle and declared it very comfortable. The king bed was also very comfortable. Having 2 bathrooms was a definite plus. Each sleeping area has closing doors for privacy. The kitchen had everything we needed. The furniture was comfy and the TV was a nice size - great for watching "Midnight in the garden of good and evil" while in Savannah. The management company was great, they checked in on us to ensure everything was just right.Things to know: The stairs are understandably steep due to the age of the home so be prepared. There are also steps up into each bathroom (leave the light on and leave the door open a crack). It is noisy at night but it's a city and there is a white noise machine (pack earplugs if you are a light sleeper). Lastly, bring coffee filters.I definitely will refer others to this property and would stay here again on my next visit to Savannah.

What a great place! Haven on Taylor was in a great location, close to everything. Plenty of parking. The unit was very clean and with great views. We really enjoyed our time in Savannah. Just steps from Monterey Square and Forsyth Park, Heaven on Taylor was in such a great location. It had everything that we needed to make us feel at home. Street parking was plentiful. Can’t wait to come back.
