Turn down the quiet, tree-lined street to The Parsonage at Forsyth. As you approach, the covered front porch and carved pillars will work their unique charm, beckoning you in. In the formal foyer, you'll find gleaming hardwood floors and a graceful, curved staircase.

A spacious living room on the main floor provides plenty of comfortable seating, an entertainment center and a ceiling fan. A lovely period fireplace and antique mirror add an elegant ambiance to the space. Several windows provide a wash natural light.

Step through the open archway to the formal dining room. Pocket doors provide privacy as needed. The finely wrought wood dining set offers chairs for six beneath a vintage chandelier. The craftsman fireplace and cute café shutters on the windows suffuse your communal meals with nostalgic charm. You’ll love the antique buffet with leaded glass and the plush oriental carpet.

The galley-style kitchen has space enough for cooking plus a clever breakfast nook for sharing morning muffins or a midday snack. A gas range, microwave, dishwasher and built-in refrigerator provide the tools you’ll need for gourmet creations. All our Savannah vacation homes are fully stocked with dishes, glassware, cookware and flatware for your use throughout your stay.

The back door leads you to a shared brick courtyard where lush greenery frames bistro seating. A formal fountain provides a bit of water music for your intimate tete-a-tetes and “me” time.

Upstairs, the second floor is a dedicated sleeping space. The first bedroom has a queen-sized bed with an intricately carved blanket chest at the end. A pair of corner windows illuminate an easy chair and cast the antique fireplace in a lovely light. Bedside tables with reading lamps and a ceiling fan cater to your comfort level.

The second bedroom boasts a cushy queen-sized bed flanked with nightstands and lamps. The original fireplace features a gleaming peacock-style screen, and a personal-sized TV keeps you entertained while you wind down at night.

A pretty daybed furnishes the third bedroom, suitable for a single adult or child. An overstuffed chair, wall-mounted lamp and lacy window dressings add elegant touches.

Two designer-detailed full bathrooms plus a half bath ensure that there’s never a queue for tooth-brushing. When you want to sample some of the city’s most popular shops, simply catch the free shuttle bus at one of several stops along the circumference of the park. You can get on or off at any of the Historic District’s 22 town squares too. Alight at City Market or River Street for local artwork, candy, clothes and souvenir shopping.

Our guests have access to our beautiful, heated pool that is located on Tybee Island. For our Savannah properties it is a scenic 25-minute drive through Wilmington and Whitemarsh Island, taking you over the Savannah River Delta onto Tybee Island.

Guests with Pets

If you would like to bring along your dog(s) during your stay, we do have some pet-friendly properties allowing up to 2 dogs and the total weight cannot exceed 50lbs for a pet fee of $130. This notice is not an indication the home you are currently viewing is pet-friendly.

The house was charming, exactly as pictured. Its location couldn’t have been better—set in a lovely residential neighborhood, just a short walk to Forsyth Park and a quick drive to Savannah’s Historic District. We spent our mornings enjoying breakfast at Sentient Bean, the perfect café to kickstart the day. The park was a highlight, offering a peaceful and beautiful relaxing spot. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My cousins and I had a wonderful stay at the Parsonage at Forsyth!! Its a beautiful house, very comfortable, plenty of space and we loved sitting on the front porch. We also took advantage of the pool on Tybee Island for one day. It was also very nice, plenty of chairs and places to sit, very relaxing. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit in the future :).

We had a lovely stay. It was comfortable and fully stocked with what we needed for a pleasant stay! We enjoyed staying in a home that was a bit removed from the noisy downtown area, but we were close enough to make it convenient. All in all, we loved it and would highly recommend your company!

This was the perfect little house for a mother and daughters vacation to Savannah! We loved the historical charm of this place yet also the updated appliances. The cute little courtyard with the fountain was an added bonus! It's too bad the pool wasn't a little closer but it was a nice pool and not too crowded on the one day we were able to make it out. Thank-you for making our experience worry-free! We had the best time in Savannah!

This is an old two story house with a 17 step staircase to the 2nd floor. We are all in our 70s and it took a coordinated effort to get our suitcases upstairs. The area was good for walking and a few blocks from Forsyth Park where we went for the Saturday farmers' market. It has off street parking and a cute fountain patio. We enjoyed our stay.

This rental is walking distance to the far end of Forsyth Park. There is a cute coffee shop there which we loved called sentient coffee. We also went to Collins Quarter for a wonderful breakfast. Easy to get right into downtown. Love that it has one offstreet parking space. The rental is very well appointed and clean. Comfortable beds. Very spacious. Nice kitchen. My only constructive, it would be that it would be nice if they would leave you one or two laundry pods and maybe some creamer for coffee. This is not a rental that keeps spices or sundries in the kitchen. In terms of any food, cooking oil or even salt and pepper it is very sparse. They did leave coffee filters and a small amount of coffee. Otherwise it is a lovely part of town with easy parking. I would recommend it.

We had a wonderful time. Felt safe in the neighborhood. House was incredibly clean and we had everything we needed and more for our stay. If you're looking for the Savannah experience, this house is it. I also loved that we could walk to Forsyth Park.
