One of our cozy Savannah vacation rentals for one or two is the Romancing on Jones property. It's just under 1,000 square feet and has one bedroom and one bathroom. Savannah has numerous parks and squares throughout, but Forsyth is easily the biggest and most famous. While here you can visit the Forsyth Fountain, Garden for the Blind, war memorials and the 300 year old Chandler Oak tree. It's a great place for walking, people watching or even a picnic. There's also a cafe in the park if you get hungry.

The second most popular attraction in Savannah might be all the history tours available. You have the option of the Old Town Trolley Tour, horse and buggy tours and walking tours. You can take themed tours too, from Civil War tours, architecture tours, ghost tours and more. Two great areas to find copious amounts of shopping and dining are River Street and the City Market. From River Street, you can also enjoy a river boat cruise or take a dolphin watching tour out onto the river.

Living on beautiful Jones Street for three weeks this January was a very good experience. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the steeple of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist from the kitchen window, all of the wonderful sunlight that came in from three directions in the bedroom, and the quiet that made sleeping easy. Having off-the-street parking and short walks to the attractions and restaurants made the location perfect.

This home is the perfect spot for one or two people to get away to Savannah for a weekend or more. We stayed a week and it was so comfortable for that extended time. With a washer/dryer and full kitchen plus a dedicated work space, it was like being at home. The location is perfectly central in downtown, far enough from River Street so it's quieter, but super easy to walk down there or to Forsyth Park or to anywhere. The dedicated parking space was great, although no trouble finding street parking either. We would definitely stay here again.

Walking distance to everything. A fully stocked kitchen. Although we only cooked for breakfast each morning. Wanted to experience the southern cooking in Savanah. So much to do in Savannah, we would leave by 9 am and not return until 8:00 at night. Super comfortable bed.

We booked this apartment for a week to explore Savannah without knowing it was located on one of the most beautiful streets in the US. The apartment was spotless - perfectly cleaned and both elegant and comfortable. The location could not have been better - everything in the Historic District was within a fifteen-to-twenty minute walk and the provided parking spot allowed us to keep our car close by (for free) for any longer excursions. One minute out the door is a lovely spot for breakfast (Clary's) and the famous Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room was just a six minute walk. The Riverfront was about twenty minutes - We could not have asked for a better home base for our week in Savannah! Note - there are stairs up to the ground level and then another staircase up to the apartment so expect that.

From our first communication ,on-line check-in information to our great service and tip (Bounce) from Nikki our experience was superb. The pictures on-line were wonderful but did not compare to entering the apartment..the decor is stunning and the views of Saint John's from every room immersed us into the city's lovely culture. Spotless,comfortable and relaxing..hated to leave. Some of our highlights were lunch at The Cotton Exchange, dinner at Cotton and Rye~WOW everything, apps with Champagne & a pop at the Rooftop of The Grove ~ perfect and of course dinner at Olde Pink House~ a must do! Clary's was a great breakfast spot-my husband loved the hash & service was great. We so enjoyed our time in this magical city and hope to return soon always wanting to stay at this apartment!

This place was the perfect getaway for my husband and I. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and it was a great place for just the two of us. The apt is spacious and well laid out. It's super quiet and private feeling while also being close to everything. My husband and I parked the car in the back, private parking space, and then walked everywhere we need to go for the 4 days we visited. It was really lovely! There are a few apartments within the house, but honestly you would never know it. We didn't see or hear any other guests our entire visit. And once you close the door on the apt, it feels so much like your own private home. The Apt smelled really nice, was very clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay!

The apartment was clean, well appointed and had everything we needed for a four night stay. It was convenient to walk almost anywhere and we had little trouble parking if we drove. If you want to have dinner at the famous pink house restaurant,make your reservation at least a month before you leave home. The highlight of our trip was to Mrs. Wilkes dining room. Located at 107 w. Jones street and open 11-2, it is an unforgettable feast we'll worth the wait in line.

This place embodies Savannah. The structure's history was not overshadowed by the upscale interior design. Spacious - comfortable - and easy. The location was fantastic - really everything was walkable: within a mile or less. All communication with the management company was efficient and resulted in a prompt response. Hearing the Cathedral bells - the horns of the freighters - the clip clopping of horses' hooves on Jones St. - having access to the side courtyard and a designated parking spot in the back - all worked. Loved this location on the quietist prettiest street in town. Felt completely safe walking at night and the farthest thing away was a 15min walk. Kroger was a 10min walk to get necessities. Huge bedroom and bath that were both so comfortable. Living room was also enjoyable and relaxing. We only did breakfast in the condo so didn't check out any of the kitchen wares. Would def stay here again if I'm town. One thing I missed in the description was that it is not on the ground floor. Wasn't a problem just wasn't expected.

Romancing the Jones is on what is known as the prettiest street in Savannah. It's in a beautiful old house on a quiet street that is in walking distance to everything! Forsyth Park and all the way down to the river are very close and walkable. The property looks exactly like the photos and was absolutely gorgeous! There is also a private parking spot which was really helpful. The only potential negative is that it is located on the second floor with a narrow staircase. That's part of the charm of an old house but it's a bit daunting if you have trouble with stairs. Otherwise it was perfect! We would happily stay here again!

We totally enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment. It was beautifully decorated and spotless. The private off street parking spot behind the building was an added bonus. We loved being able to walk to so many parks and shops. Clary's Restaurant was so good for breakfast - right across the street! The check in and check out emails made it all a breeze. We have been staying with Southern Belle now for the past 4 years and this has got to be my favorite property we stayed in. It was absolutely beautiful, relaxing and the interior decoration is amazing. The views from the windows are breathtaking. And the light. The property more than met our expectations. It is centrally located on a beautiful street less than a minute walk to Clary's restaurant where we ate breakfast each morning. The private parking was a must and with the trolly pick up just a couple minutes walk we rarely needed our car. We were also able to walk to many attractions like Forsyth park. Although there were other guests staying at the property we never heard them at all. Our condo was extremely quiet with beautiful views. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

The web site for this property should note that seniors or anyone with mobility issues might have difficulty climbing the two flights of stairs to gain access to this apartment (#7). The first flight goes up to the building's first floor and the 2nd flight is long and steep (18 steps)and goes to the 2nd floor.
