River Street Fourth of July Celebration

Thursday, July 4, 4-10 p.m.
This free event takes place rain or shine with live music from 8-10 p.m. and fireworks about 9 p.m. Bring your blankets or chairs and come early to get a good spot. Children can enjoy the Kids Zone activities while waiting for the rockets’ red glare.
July 4th Dinner & Fireworks Cruise
Savannah Riverboat Cruises

Celebrate our nation’s independence in a unique way with a Savannah Riverboat Cruise. Come aboard for a one-of-a-kind three-hour celebration, and enjoy a delicious Fourth of July inspired dinner buffet, live entertainment, drink specials and a spectacular fireworks show presented by the Waterfront Association. A second, one and a half-hour Fireworks Cruise departs at 8 p.m.
Tybee Island Independence Day Fireworks
July 4, dark-thirty or around 9 p.m.
Fireworks are launched from the pier on Tybrisa Street and can be seen from most locations on the east coast beaches (from 2nd Street to 19th Street). Guests should arrive early to beat the traffic and find a perfect beach spot, or better yet, ride a bike or walk from your Southern Belle Vacation Rentals condo.
An Old Towne Trolley Fourth of July tour is a smashing way to see all the Independence Day decorations around town while learning the city’s history. Because it’s a “hop on and off” with stops at more than a dozen sites, you can catch all the best celebrations around the city. You can get on the Trolley at any stop (they come by about every 20 minutes) and tickets last for the day.
Fort McAllister Historic Park Fourth of July Celebration

It’s a couple of days after the Fourth, but Fort McAllister State Park will hold its celebration on the Saturday after. Watch Civil War drilling, rifle and cannon firings. Participate in “old-timey games,” enjoy mouth-watering, fresh watermelon, or join in a Civil War-era baseball game.
