Savannah is a wonderful city to visit at any time of the year. But, during the winter, there’s a particular romance to the city. The smaller crowds, the holiday lights, the mild weather. Whatever the attraction, there’s certainly something inviting about winter on the Georgia coast.
The only winter blues to experience on Tybee Island is the color of the ocean. Here, cold weather means trading snow for sand. If it’s cold where you live, get yourself to Tybee Island for some sunshine and Vitamin Sea.
Savannah’s winters are mild, with lows around 40 degrees and highs in the low 60s. Snow is rare, though the area gets a little rain. So, even though day temperatures are temperate, you might want to plan some indoor entertainment. We’ve got some great ideas.
